Trail Rides
Join us for an unforgettable horseback experience across the Mickelson Trail and through the beautiful Mystic Gulch National Forest. Unplug your electronics and reconnect with nature as you wind through the majestic Ponderosa pines and immerse yourself in the best of the Black Hills. One of our professional wranglers will match you with the perfect horse and guide you and your family through the duration of the activity.

Buckaroo Rides
A pony ride experience for your little ones...
ABOUT
Bring your little ones for a delightful hand-walked horseback ride around the ranch! Our wranglers will match your child with one of our slow and steady horses, making this a wonderful experience for first time buckaroos who are too young or, perhaps, a bit nervous about their first ride. A wrangler will lead your kiddo around, providing opportunities for parents to take photos while their little one rides.

Please arrive 20 mins prior to departure time
Riders must be between the ages of 3 - 7.

Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be issued if cancellations or changes to reservations are made by telephone or e-mail contact (RideSDHC@gmail.com) a MINIMUM of 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. If you arrive late and miss your depature time for any of our activities you will not be refunded. All posted times are listed as DEPARTURE times. Individuals or groups that miss their departure times will NOT be refunded.

Safety and Policies
Our knowledgeable wranglers will pair you with a compatible horse based on experience and personality. We will teach you the basics to get you comfortable on horseback before hitting the trail. With the help of our professional wranglers and your trusty steed, you'll journey through a serene section of the Mystic Gulch National Forest. Wind through towering Ponderosa Pines, take in beautiful wildflowers, and we're lucky, see some wildlife!
